#ForTheGirls is a passion project that is aimed to benefit women everywhere! After noticing many disparities for Women's needs in our community along with our world, we decided it was time to make a change.
What we do
Empowering Women Through Donations And Seminars.
Our passion project aims to provide Women with the materials they need to succeed! With the help of donations, we provide feminine hygiene carts in our local High Schools bathrooms. Along with hosting seminars aimed to improve women's mental health. Lastly, we also engage in fundraising for Women in need!
Menstrual Product Carts
These carts are full of different feminine hygiene products along with overall hygiene products such as pads, tampons, disposable hygiene bags, deodorant, travel size mouthwash and more! All of which have been donated!
Mental Health Seminars
To uplift women's mental health we hold seminars within our school. Some of these seminars include: The perspective panel, Upperclassmen advice to Lowerclassmen, College and Highschool readiness, and how to navigate the world around you!
Fundraising
#ForTheGirls is very keen on fundraising. We aim to hold canned food drives, hygiene drives and clothing drives to donate to our local Women's Domestic Violence Shelter. Fundraising is a great way to bring our community together while also responding to the needs of the women around us!
